Arthur ayre

A first-year at Night Raven College.     Around 160 years old. Descended from diurnal draconic fae—the opposite of nocturnal fae. Much like Malleus, he is the heir apparent of Mt. Solana, and has capabilities rivaling the most powerful mages in the world—earning him the respect of many people.

guidelines

// 001 : mun.         @diasovolt , cha is the user behind this account. It is their first time roleplaying on twitter so please be nice! I'm 16 years old and always open to being mutuals on my main account as well. I am a huge Sebek fan and quite known for never being normal about him, so I created Arthur to sort of project all my love to Sebek. This is not a selfship but an ocxcc ship, and I don't feel comfortable romantically involving my actual self with Sebek. When making arthur, all I had in mind was creating a character that would be able to give Sebek the amount of love, desperation, and obsession I think he deserves. I'm into complex romance, but I make sure to never cross a line. I do struggle with following norms (and there are some that I do think are important to follow) so please let me know if I am ever too weird. I really never mean to be. Ask me for more boundaries I didn't list!

Has wings and a tail he prefers to keep hidden--they clash with his gallant appearance. Subtle fangs. Hates restrictive clothing, so he always wears flowy garments with open collars and looser hems.

001   :   upbringing.       Arthur's instructors and tutors never had to stay with him for very long—he would constantly receive praise for being good at everything he does. He is a fast learner and naturally intelligent, which essentially caused his endless languor. He initially floated through life with irrevocable boredom—the only thing ever sparking his emotion being his forced anger towards Malleus for once refusing to play with him when they were younger. Having attended NRC in pursuit of endless revenge to keep himself entertained, he met Sebek and was overcome with intense interest and infatuation—because despite himself, Sebek was unpredictable and brought out true emotions from him. Emotions he could finally describe as his own. Emotions that no longer came from books with desperate imagery he never understood. It was contradictory and equally infuriating—Sebek had a personality unique to himself that most others could figure out—so why was he having so much trouble reading him? He had a brilliant mind, after all. Arthur blamed it on Sebek having impure blood. He had never met a half-fae-half-human before. Perhaps that was the reason behind Sebek's inscrutable demeanor. He began to stalk the boy and directed his energy to deepening their relationship—much to Sebek's chagrin—now constantly distressed by having to deal with another, much more intense prince.002   :   history.       Long ago, Mt. Solana fought its own war against their neighboring kingdoms. It was hardly a war—the people of their nation were the victors by an inevitable force: a general that was able to singlehandedly defeat a thousand men. He, Hylos, was declared a legend—a god of war. Thus, when Aelio, Arthur's ancestor was born, their very own god of war was invited to bestow a blessing upon the child. "This child, his sons, and their sons—they shall never taste the bitterness of defeat. Never will they raise their swords in battle and not receive my favor. Their desires will be prophecies, and luck shall always shine upon them." He had meant it a blessing, but from then on, the sons born from the throne of Mt. Solana lived dull, miserably victorious lives—most of them welcoming death as their lives' last and only thrill. The blessing's effects are weaker outside of Arthur's continent because of Hylos' magical capabilities and shallow way of thinking. Mt. Solana was named their continents "greatest nation" after the war and Hylos was only thinking about his kingdom's legacy among all the others. In their continent, all the kingdoms are ruled by fae. Even in the present, less than twenty humans live among all the kingdoms.003   :   UM.       Arthur's signature spell: Shape the Light—allows him to materialize and touch light as if it were an actual object. He can either make and shape it himself or take already existing light. He can also utilize the sunlight rather than produce his own.

"his place is at my side."

001   :   personality.       Arthur keeps up a facade of noble perfection after realizing in his childhood that his subjects would never view him in a negative light no matter what, as a result of his "blessing". However, he has sadistic tendencies and likes to make passive aggressive comments to see just how far he can go. He enjoys eliciting negative reactions from others and hates pushovers that remain happy or unperturbed despite his snide remarks. He relished that upon his arrival in Night Raven College, the people around him didn't seem as robotic and predictable as the fae from his home. While still respected, less people thought of him as an infallible lord.002   :         He doesn't seem to notice that when Sebek's safety or their relationship is threatened, his facade drops easily.

003   :   nuance.       He doesn't think of Sebek as an equal. Far from it. Because of his environment, he was secretly very arrogant. This makes him disrespectful of Sebek's boundaries and sometimes secretly gets angry when Sebek rejects him because he thinks he's far above Sebek in every way. He takes advantage of Sebek's admiration towards powerful fae like himself and is thankful that they remain somewhat cordial.004   :         Despite this, he cares for Sebek greatly, even if he doesn't realize it. He sees Sebek the way an owner sees their adorable dog. He would be remiss to lose Sebek.

005   :   school.       Paid the school to get the exact same schedule as Sebek. Currently, he's trying to get Sebek to accept his courtship. He's telling himself that it's to see if he'll be able to take Sebek's loyalty to Malleus for himself (false he's in denial about falling for Sebek), but to everyone else, he's just lovestruck.006   :         Only has to listen to lessons once to understand everything. He's the top of their year, but always offers to purposely fail so Sebek can take his spot. Sebek respectfully refuses.
